Sorry for your loss. I think given the small scale of 30x25, I think you absolutely nailed it. I hope she would be proud.#3: Valerie Mates (valerie) on Feb 11, 2021 [SPOILER]

Line/color logic solves all of the green and most of the red. Smile logic will finish off the red.#6: Bas (Basch) on Feb 12, 2021
OK on to the black. The 2 clue in C7 can be finished with R20C7 or R22C7. In either case, this will force the 1 clue to be satisfied in C8. So R23C8-R26C8 will be dots. And 1 black cell can be filled in with LL.
If the 2 clue in R26 is placed in C9-10, then C11 will be invalid looking 2 moves ahead. So R26C9 is a dot.
I do not see an easy way forward from here. I'll come back to later to look again.
I am sorry for you loss. The late 30's is no age for someone to go. I hope she has peace now.#7: derby (Derby) on Feb 14, 2021
Lovely memorial.#8: BlackCat (BlackCat) on Feb 14, 2021
My sympathy for your loss, especially in such an ugly way. This is a delightful tribute.
It was a challenging puzzle and I did have to guess twice, but it was a cute image overall.
