I was hoping that'd be the solution!

that's cute :)

Juli, my brain gets muddled enough already - I can't even fathom what dyslexia is like. I'll just lose words, instead. I know the word I want to use, but my brain just won't produce it. So frustrating!

I didn't notice the 'mistake' until I'd finished and was trying to work out what the title was - I think lockdown has melted my brain :D
#10: Kristen Vognild (kristen) on Feb 5, 2021
Steve, I'm sure you meant you didn't spot the mitsake? ;)
#11: Aurelian Ginkgo (AurelianGinkgo) on Feb 5, 2021
I literally can't read that last misspelling any way other than with a Japanese pronunciation. It looks like it could be some kind of mushroom.

Shiitake, matsutake, mitsake...

Dyslexia is no fun I have a mild case and have learned to double check everything I write or read. A dictionary is my best friend.
#13: BlackCat (BlackCat) on Feb 6, 2021
A little odd. Nice beginner's puzzle.

I do something similar but don't actually see the words...more like my head speaks them to me. My brain just automatically anagrams words like that...it will spit out about 15 words from those letters. It doesn't come in handy very often, but I did win a thermometer one time for this "ability"/curse.

Luckily it's not all words I see otherwise I'd be in trouble. Usually it's just stand-alone words or a shirt 2-3 word phrase. Brand names seem to be a prime candidate. Anyway...

I got you, David :)
#21: JoDeen Mozena (ozymoe) on Feb 11, 2021
David, I am wondering if the special ability you have helps you when playing the game Wheel Of Fortune?
#22: David Bouldin (dbouldin) on Feb 11, 2021
not as much as you would think. i'm not bad at it, but obviously it is letters in a particular pattern, not switching places. i do see patterns well, but would not have done as well as you!!
