I ordered my groceries online (Instacart). I asked for a 12 pound turkey. What I got was "the smalled one they had" - 22 pounds! Barely fit in the pan. Needless to say, my two kids and I have lots of leftovers. Good thing we like turkey. And we all happen to LOVE TG leftovers. :-)

We attended an interment at Arlington National Cemetery the day before Thanksgiving so we were on the road. Nothing was open Thanksgiving Day. We shared a hot dog, two donuts and some microwaved popcorn. Nonetheless, to our minds it was the best Thanksgiving feast ever. @#4. We had the same experience Teresa. We ordered a 12 pound turkey and got 19.5 lbs! My husband made Turkey Tetrazzini yesterday. It was delish!
