I got some of the outer shape and some of the inner verticals, and I thought I was seeing a stringed instrument. I hope you got one much earlier than that. The Nintendo Entertainment System came out in 1983 and is generally considered what killed both coin arcades and MTV. You probably meant 1977 which is when it came out, but was not known as the 2600 until November 1982. October 1983 they released the 2800.
