Yeah, the virtual ones ain't the same.
#4: Belita (belita) on Oct 29, 2020 [SPOILER]
I voted too. Wild horses (or militias) couldn't keep me from voting!

I have voted by mail for a long time as I quit driving a long time ago. That program has been in effect for quite a few years so I feel safe using it. A sticker came in the package but I don't go anywhere so there's no one to see it.

Great puzzle. I am Canadian, so didn’t vote, but I encourage everyone to do so.

I'll vote on Nov 3. I think Louisiana is doing pelican stickers this year, which are nice but not as nice as the Blue Dog stickers.

I voted absentee, and so did Arlo (my oldest). I've been jumping through hoops for days to try to get my middle child, James, his absentee ballot at college. I thought I'd done it, but then UPS skipped the pick up from their dropbox that his ballot was in, and now it's not going to get there in time. I think I can do ten hours of driving and get him to his polling place and back, if his school allows him an exception to their COVID policies, but I am not sure if they will allow it. Sigh. This shouldn't be this complicated!!

UPS is totally unreliable. I go to great lengths to avoid using them. One package was crushed when it arrived with the packaging on the contents broken open. No apology. nothing. One package was shipped from the east coast. All that arrived in Phoenix was an empty box. Items never get here when they say they will and often show evidence of rough handling. A birthday gift I ordered for my great grandson wandered around Phoenix for days with a daily message to me saying it's out for delivery. My attempts to get it delivered were unsuccessful and it wasn't until I managed to get through to the main office that I had any luck. Oddly it was delivered first thing the next day.

I am permanent vote by mail as I take care of my elderly mother. I have - in the past - voted many different ways. Absentee, provisional, etc. Fortunately, I have not had the problems enumerated in the above comments. Am praying for things to get back to "normal" -- whatever that might mean!!!

An update to #8: In the end, James *did* get to vote. Whew!

We've gotten our ballots in the mail early for a few years now here in Colorado, and we drop them off at a box in the (extended) neighborhood, maybe a mile drive. Before about 2012, we voted at a neighborhood school polling site, and proudly displayed the sticker. I miss them, too.

I used look ahead to determine if C10R12 could be blank or not, and to me it felt deep enough to be considered guessing. But it was at a point where I had just a bit more red to put in and I'm not sure I could have gotten there with less look ahead? Was looking for better 2 way logic options...

Really enjoyed solving this puzzle! Thanks!
#15: Wombat (wombatilim) on Mar 13, 2023 [HINT]
Initial line & color logic gets to 37%, with black complete.

C6: If the blue 4 goes into R10, it makes R6 invalid, so it goes into R6 instead. Line & color logic finishes the blue and gets to 84%.

C6: Whether the red 1 is in R11 or R12, R11C7 is red. LL.

R12: Whether the red 2 is in C9-10 or C11-12, R11C10 is white.

R10: If C9 is white, it makes C10 invalid. Therefore R10C9 is red.

LL to finish.
