Ah, yes, the two 2020 tropical storms coming in from the gulf at the same time. If they merge, will it compare to Superstorm Sandy? I suppose we'll find out. I hope you don't find out the hard way whether there is severe flooding or not.

Marco has all but fizzled out, but we'll see how much he chummed the waters for Laura.

As of 9 am Eastern she was officially a hurricane. Batten down!

It look like both Marco and Laura have to decided to skip New Orleans. The coastline of west Louisiana, stretching toward Houston, doesn't look so lucky.

But Laura has strengthened. Just checked out a lengthy article on the weather channel. It will make landfall starting tonight.

We got some decent rainstorms yesterday, but that was the worst of it, for eastern LA. I'm back at work, today. :)
