This puzzle, with the blots, is definitely not solvable with only line logic. It is LLS without the blots, though. Perhaps, Valerie, you looked at the solvability of #34323? (I'm not even sure why there is a separate version as I did not request to make a new version at any point.)#8: Valerie Mates (valerie) on Jul 22, 2020
If you have already solved this, you can reload the blank puzzle and press the "Helper" button. It will bring you to the position of my hint in #1. At that point you can see that no single line or column can be added to without referring to another.
