Thank you!#7: Joe (infrapinklizzard) on Jun 12, 2020
Yes, Jota, all lives matter. But if black lives don't then that is not true. In a society where one out of a thousand black people are killed by white police, it is not the white lives that are being ignored.#8: Heather M (AuntieH) on Jun 12, 2020
The thing that chaps my ass about the alt-right media harping about "all lives" is that they are deliberately taking the "black lives matter" slogan the wrong way. It is not saying "Black lives matter more than white", but merely trying to remind the dominant society that they exist and should not be ignored, or worse, abused.
Well said Joe. Great puzzle Brian.#9: Kristen Vognild (kristen) on Jun 12, 2020
An analogy is if a house is on fire, but the fire fighter says "all houses matter" and sprays water on the house next door. That house wasn't currently in danger.#10: JoDeen Mozena (ozymoe) on Jun 12, 2020 [SPOILER]
Another analogy, from Luke: Jesus is with a herd of 100 sheep, but leaves the herd unguarded to find the one lamb that was lost. Didn't the other 99 matter? Of course, but they weren't the ones in immediate danger.

ohjeez! Thanks. I stared and stared, and saw someone kneeling in sorrow? prayer? And couldn't get past the Bureau spell-out.#12: Teresa K (fasstar) on Jun 12, 2020
Bravo! Thank you, Brian.#13: Brian Bellis (mootpoint) on Jun 12, 2020
It's good to talk about this. And it's good to listen.

I had intended to get back to this puzzle sooner but was delayed. Thank you Joe and Kristen. I could not have said it any better.#14: amanda_jamma (amanda_jamma) on Jun 12, 2020

Yes BLM#18: Alan Lafond (Cural) on Jun 16, 2020
Took a while for me to figure out what it was... Of course, I went into the puzzle expecting a Princess Bride reference. :P#19: David Bouldin (dbouldin) on Jun 16, 2020
BLM = Bacon, Lettuce, and Mutton!
The first similar analogy that I heard stuck with me..."when we say 'Save the Rain Forests!', we aren't saying Screw the other Forests!'"#20: Judy LeTourneau (Izzy) on Nov 27, 2021
What Joe and Kirsten said, and very well.
