nice small, 2-color solve. Line/color logic only.

Found to be solvable with moderate lookahead by infrapinklizzard.

After LL/CL leaves only black,

I looked at the 1s in c11, c12, and c13. They must each be in r14 or r15. Now look at r15. It only has 1,1 left. No matter where you put the 1s in r15, r14c12 must be black.
LL

Then alternating-smile logic in c6-7. Since there are only 1s in rows 5-10, the columns have only one way to fit.
LL

Extended two-way logic ion the 1 in c11:
> If it were in r14 then r14c16 would be white
> If it were in r15 then r15c16 would be white
= Either way, the 3 in c16 would force c16r12 to be black.

LL to finish

I didn't even mind the subject matter (Mega Man isn't QUITE as popular as Mario in here, but there have still been many iterations), because the color logic made it a fun challenge. :)

Great puzzle! Ah, this puzzle takes me back. The hours I spent trying to get Megaman up to the top of Crashman's tower. Very good likeness in the image, and a great solve.

I mostly followed Joe's steps on the solve, except at the very end. Instead of two-way logic, I used internal edge logic on the 3 in column 16. The 3 must either go in R13-15 or R15-17. If the C16 3 goes in R13-15 then there is a contradiction in C11.
