@2, 4, and 10: I'm calling it intuition. It is a type of guessing, as it is not guaranteed to give you a definitive placement. It can be quite a challenge to ignore it and insist on "pretending" you don't know for sure where the pixel goes.
But let's face it, when you know, you just know.

Sometimes I just use my intuition, too. Lol. Although I did stick it out for this puzzle.
