#6: Adam Nielson (monkey) on Sep 1, 2008
They why live in UTAH, where it is cold and snows a lot???
#7: Deana L (FFsWife) on Sep 1, 2008
And here I thought *I* was on meds... Kinda looks like Adam's been dipping in the dispensary with that sentence. :D
#8: Adam Nielson (monkey) on Sep 1, 2008
I guess I didn't get your joke, Deana. Sorry.
#9: Tonia Bergh (tonia) on Sep 1, 2008
Beautiful image, Inna... This would make a great Christmas card for p-b-n fans! Good Job! >^..^<
#10: Deana L (FFsWife) on Sep 2, 2008
You said "They why live in UTAH..."

I think you meant THEN why live in Utah, but the way it came out looks... funny... perhaps its just BECAUSE I'm heavily medicated. :]
#11: InPu (Inna) on Sep 2, 2008
yes Adam the same sound God and rusian "god" (yesr). But we call God as Bog so for russians they are different words.
#12: Adam Nielson (monkey) on Sep 2, 2008
Thank you each (#10 and #11) for clarifying.
#13: Jane Doe (telly) on Sep 2, 2008
I live in Utah because I do like snow...but it sometimes seems to last forever. And...well, I was raise in Utah but born in North Dakota (air force brat) and this snow was better than it was up there. I like having four seasons. I just wish fall lasted longer and winter was shorter. That's all.
#14: Adam Nielson (monkey) on Sep 2, 2008
Thanks for spilling your guts, LOL.
#15: Jane Doe (telly) on Sep 2, 2008
I've been doing that a lot the last few days anyway...I've been sick. lol
#16: Adam Nielson (monkey) on Sep 2, 2008
LOL Sorry to laugh at your sickness, but that was funny! Are you pregnant or something? I mean, you are 30-something, right? LOL Forgive me if that came across as rude.
#17: Nancy Snyder (naneki) on Sep 2, 2008
Adam..tit for tat
#18: Adam Nielson (monkey) on Sep 2, 2008
HUH?
#19: Nancy Snyder (naneki) on Sep 2, 2008
LOL...if you ask for info then you must give info (didn't you see Silence of the Lambs? that's what Hannibal said to Clarisse)
#20: Adam Nielson (monkey) on Sep 2, 2008
Ok. I am NOT pregnant. Is that good?
#21: Nancy Snyder (naneki) on Sep 2, 2008
lol...too bad you could make millions
#22: Adam Nielson (monkey) on Sep 2, 2008
Well, you said I had to tell her what I asked her, right?
LOL
#23: Laura Frasca (laurabelle) on Sep 2, 2008
I'm ready for summer to end, myself; it's pretty hot here right now (Oakland, California). I'll be happy when the weather cools off a little.
#24: Marie-Louise Ambrey (marz) on Sep 3, 2008
Beautiful puzzle, thankyou! :)
#25: Minnie Fuerstnau (m.fuerstnau) on Sep 3, 2008 [SPOILER]
I have liked both of your puzzles- the nested dolls and this one. You are a very good artist. Thank you!
#26: Adam Nielson (monkeyboy) on Sep 3, 2008
:-)
#27: Jan Wolter (jan) on Sep 3, 2008 [SPOILER]
Very attractive puzzle. Puts me in the mood for a white Christmas, which is actually kind of an unfortunate mood to be in in September.

Speaking of white Christmas's, the bottom section of the puzzle was significantly more fun to work on than the top section, because none of the top section rows have enough white to give them any slack. So the puzzle would be more fun if it was a bit whiter.
#28: Jan Wolter (jan) on Sep 3, 2008 [SPOILER]
Hmmm...possibly a way of doing this would have been to have a bit of snow accumulating on top of the tree's branches. This would be better than snow flakes because a dot of white with the same color on both sides doesn't create any slack, but a dot of white with different colors on each side does. Since the snow on top of the branches would have been between the green tree and the blue sky it help make the puzzle challenging much more than snow flakes would.

Not that I want you to change the puzzle or anything. I'm just trying to figure out how one could better reconcile the demands of beauty and playability.

By the way, "slack" is a measure of the uncertainty in a row or column. If you pack all the blocks in a row as far to the left as possible, the number of white spaces left over on the right is the slack. A row with zero slack can be filled in completely. If you have more than a few of those, the puzzle tends to be too easy.

Lovely puzzle Inna. Your images are so beautiful!
Thanks for the challenge too. :-)

Laura Frasca (laurabelle): cross the bay and come to Pacifica. I guarantee you that it's cooler here! :-)

I enjoyed the puzzle but agree with Jan on both # 27 and 28.
Any way Inna would you compete in this week's WC ? (Forum #112)
