If you have a liquid hand sanitizer that chaps, put in a drop of glycerine.
I didn't manage to get any sanitizer before everyone hoarded it all, so I made my own with some rubbing alcohol I had on hand:
> 70% alcohol to kill the virus
> some H2O2 (about a tablespoon per pint) to help clean out any bacteria in the bottle and on your hands
> some glycerine (a teaspoon or two per pint) to keep your hands from chapping.
Notes:
--If your rubbing alcohol is greater than 90% concentration, you should do some math and dilute it to 70-90% using distilled water. **It must be at least 70%**, but if it is *too* concentrated it does not work as well.
-- The H2O2 should be about 3% [or in metric 15ml H2O2 to 500ml Alc.]
-- The glycerine is also called glycerin or glycerol. Do not use glycol, though. It is merely to keep your hands from drying out, so is not essential. Use 1-2% [or in metric 5-10ml per 500ml Alc.]
