"C'est un oiseau dégingandé," j'ai pensé, quand j'ai résolu deux tiers du casse-tête.

"That's an ungainly bird," I thought, when I had solved two thirds of the puzzle. (At least, that's what I was trying to say...)

Kristen, I'm so glad you provide the translations, too. It's a nice correction in case we get a word wrong.

J'aime bien ton oiseau, Michel. Cela ressemble à une pie, non? Je pense que de toute façon, lol. Soupir ... J'attends l'arrivée réelle du printemps avec une grande impatience ... bientôt nos jonquilles fleuriront et je vais remonter le moral. Merci pour ton drôle de petit garçon à plumes!


Translation: I like your bird, Michel. It looks like a magpie, doesn't it? I think it does, anyway, lol. Sigh… I am waiting for Spring to really arrive with great impatience…soon our daffodils will bloom and that will cheer me up. Thank you for your funny little feathered fellow!

Our daffodils are mostly gone already. I enjoyed the solve. (Need my daughter here, to translate for me.)
