If you are not familiar with this site, you might want to take a look. They have 14 categories of puzzles and give you free playing time to try out puzzles. Right now to help occupy your time because of the virus they have several puzzles they are giving away, so this is a good time to try it out. Hidden object puzzles can take several hours to complete. They have a story line, interesting hidden object puzzles and other varieties of puzzles. There are maps that transport you back and forth between scenes. Most have beautiful art work and there is background music (some good, some annoying - but you can turn it on or off), and you can select a level of difficulty. Most have 4 levels now.

I looked them up. I would be very careful when buying anything from them. There are a lot of complaints about being unknowingly signed up for recurring membership. There are also some about how games that you "bought" stop working if you stop your membership.

Also, be aware that they install a "game manager" in addition to any games. There doesn't seem to be any evidence that it does anything sneaky. It is, however, just one more thing cluttering up your computer and sapping CPU cycles. You cannot run any programs from them if you uninstall it.

I have been a customer of BigFish for many years. I bought my first game in June of 2012, but I played their demos for quite a while before that before I decided to buy. I have bought quite a few games and had VERY few problems. If I did experience a problem they were very nice and extremely helpful. If it was not an easy problem they would give me a coupon for a free game. Some of my glitches would be caused by my elderly equipment. Sometimes they could work around it for me or just give me a free game. I started making a list of the games I downloaded to try and since early 2016 I have downloaded over 250 games. That list, of course, does not include all the games I tried in the 4 years prior to that.

You don't have to keep the game manager on your computer if you don't want to. You can redownload it any time you want to.

I had a membership for a short period but gave it up and they have not bothered me in any way to renew my membership. None of my games stopped working when I stopped my membership.

I had not gone to Joe's link about the site before I posted #3. Apparently the company was purchased in 2019 by an Australian company. I did not know this. I did notice a change in the quality of some of the serial games they offer and was disappointed. But I have purchased other games and have not been disappointed nor have I had any problems.

As for the "accidental memberships" as one person who really likes the site told them it's their own darn fault for not examining closely what they are paying for.

Maybe some people have had a bad experience with BigFish, but as we know just like on this site there are always those who give bad ratings just because they can.

I don't know what to tell you, except that I personally haven't had any problems.

I can vouch. I actually first discovered that I like paint by number puzzles from Big Fish Games. But then I discovered this site. There are thousands more puzzles, they get a lot bigger than 25x25, you don't get penalized for making a mistake, and they are free. And I can create them if I want.

There are a couple other games I really liked, the three Flux Family Secrets, in particular. Very fun. If they are still available, I recommend them.

I dog sat a bit for the now ex-CEO of big fish games because we're in the same very small rare breed club. Random!
Anyway, being in the Seattle game industry for so long, I of course know some people there.
I bought Legend of Fae from them. Really enjoyed that game (as I'm always trying to find match 3 games with no free to play BS in them).

I've been a member there for years! Love the hidden-object puzzles.
