Puzzle Description:

Bat skeleton! Achieving flight with long finger bones

After purple arrow logic, R20C25 must be a dot/white because the spaces directly to its left and right are already dots/white and R20 indicates that that particular spot ought to fulfill a 2 clue. (This is because R20C22 is either the remaining left-most 1 clue or another 2 clue, and R20C31-32 is one of the 2 clues.)

Also because of this, R20C20 must likewise be dotted/white.

More purple logic, then I combed it for easy to miss LL. I found nothing that really advanced the solve. I'm looking for some EL, but struggling to find anything. This is what I've got so far. Anyone have anymore?

I found more. EL R25: the 1 clue between the 2 and the 4 must be in C10. No other spot will allow it. LL.

EL reveals R19C44 must be dotted/white. More LL.

EL on R22 gets you a dot/white C40 and a black C38. More LL.

To be continued.

Found to be solvable with moderate lookahead by gator.

Continuing from your hints, focus on columns 37 and 39. In those 2 columns only a single 2 clue is left to be placed in each one. Also note rows 16 and 20 are incomplete 2 clues. You must complete them either going into column 37 or 39. But it you complete R16 in C37, this forces R20 to be completed in C39. The opposite is also true. If R16C39 is black, then R20C37 is forced to be black. In either of the 2 ways these can be filled in, R18C37 and R18C39 are both dots. More LL.

If R20C37 is black, then so is R19C37. This makes R19 invalid. So R20C37 is a dot. LL to finish.

Ah, thank you, Gator! Your hint for that tricky spot involving columns 37 and 39 was all I needed to continue to the end. The next step was easy.

This was a nice, challenging solve, TLEV. Thanks for the puzzle.

Nice. I did have to guess a bit on the right side.

Totally awesome. Great detail. Very tough. Did guess twice toward the end on the right side.
