Strange law .... which was repealed in 2018

So my trivia site is a couple of years old. And not very reliable either, I've found. But it makes for some interesting puzzles. Thanks for the comments.

But what if you skydive into your own wedding?
Then by the time the cops could rush in to grab you, you'd say:
"Surely, not me? I'm married, see?"

That would be an interesting way to arrive at your wedding. You could wear a white lacey flight suit and tack a veil onto your helmet. Anybody looking for an unique wedding idea?

I wonder if the law could have also been construed to prohibit parasailing? What about paragliding? And hang gliding? What if she's flying a Cirrus when the aircraft experiences an emergency requiring that she pop the CAPS BRS parachute? What if she's in the military getting her airborne jump certificate? What if she's participating in a Red Bull Flugtag event? What if... ...am I missing any? :)

In Florida women are probably expected to be barefoot and pregnant, not parachuting.

Let's see... single women only on Sunday... maybe something about not looking up a single woman's dress on the holy day? But who the heck wears a dress when they're skydiving?
