Is this what Sanane's phobia puzzles were like? I haven't done any because they were Sanane's, but I gave this one a shot because you made it, Kristen.

Yes, he depicted various phobias. I don't recall any of them being offensive or political.

Sigh. I knew Sanane's puzzles sometimes made me uncomfortable, but until now I hadn't realized that anybody else felt that way. I wish I had clued in faster.

Thank you, Kristen. Being a fairly small puzzle and not a bunch of black and blue 1's next to each other I was able to solve it with only a little difficulty.

Maybe we should all have a little thalassophobia. Every so often they discover strange, never before seen, creatures of the deep. Who knows what else lurks there now that we are disturbing their habitat?

This is such a cool image, Kristen! It was a fun solve.

I have a lot of trouble distinguishing blue from green in these puzzles; have to do a lot of squinting and side-glances. Oh, the joys of aging! But the joy I get from this website far outshines the difficulties.
