I was thinking mermaid also. Or the figurehead on a ship. Anyway, a terrific puzzle. What took you so long? Will we see more? I hope.#3: Bananas (Bananas) on Feb 1, 2020
Thanks for the encouragement.#4: Lollipop (lollipop) on Feb 1, 2020
Excellent! Thank you.#5: Kristen Vognild (kristen) on Feb 3, 2020 [SPOILER]

Tough and fun!#7: Bananas (Bananas) on Feb 3, 2020
I'm thrilled some pbn-ers are enjoying this, my first puzzle.#8: Norma Dee (norm0908) on Feb 3, 2020
A big THANK YOU to those who keep this site running smoothly. I was pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to make the puzzle uniquely solvable.
So, um, was I supposed to do something else, in terms of ratings for example? or is that mysteriously taken care of?
Can I check stats somehow?
Go to Find Puzzles, then Your Puzzles, hover over the puzzle and a drop down menu will appear with several options.#9: Bananas (Bananas) on Feb 4, 2020
Oooo! Player statistics! I loves me some statistics.#10: Andrew Schultz (blurglecruncheon) on Feb 9, 2020
This definitely doesn't feel like a first puzzle. Well done and welcome! Perhaps it's something for me to shoot for one day. I don't do the bigger puzzles that pop up in the featured sections, but I try them if they're new and I have time, and I'm glad I tried this.#11: Norma Dee (norm0908) on Feb 9, 2020
I didn't know about the statistics either. Or maybe I did, but I forgot about them because I didn't have any puzzles when I saw them.
So, thanks for the tip, Norma.
Another tip for you Andrew. If you haven;t done so already. Go to Users and enter the user name (copy paste works fine) to see how many puzzles a person has made and solved. Bananas, for instance has solved 6752 puzzles. Someone who has solved this many puzzles has most certainly leaned a lot about puzzle construction along the way.#12: Bananas (Bananas) on Feb 9, 2020
Well actually, it was Twinkle Toes the tabby who did most of those puzzles. (We share the account.) She's *very* clever and dexterous.#13: Norma Dee (norm0908) on Feb 9, 2020
So you're perfectly right to be -ahem- impressed with, like, the sophistication and expertise of my very first puzzle here. I mean, you know... Don't hold back. ;-)
With a name like Twinkle Toes, she's sure to be dexterous. Did she share in the in the design of this puzzle also?#14: derby (Derby) on Feb 10, 2020 [SPOILER]
