Puzzle Description:

hit rewind?

Rewind my life? If I could "fast forward" through the bad parts, and re-do the good parts over and over and over again, then yes!

I give my son (with FAS) 10-second rewinds. He is so impulsive that too many times something comes out of his mouth before he can stop it. So I give him a chance to rewind and try a different response, after thinking about what he really wants to say. I give myself a rewind sometimes too. We don't have to wait until tomorrow to have a better day. We can back up and restart any time we want.

No sir. I'd get bored. Onward and upward. Lol. I take the good with the bad. I savor the memories of the good and try to learn from my mistakes. One thing that really mystifies me though...and I see it over and over...people's selective memories...I tend to actually remember things factually and admit it if I can't remember an actual detail or two...others, including my children, do not. We remember the same event way differently. This astonishes me.

Connecting this puzz with #33545 Message in a Bottle, #%&! YES I wish we could rewind environmentally

Nice solution for your son, Teresa.
#6: Kristen Vognild (kristen) on Jan 27, 2020 [SPOILER]
Sometimes. Especially if there aren't enough hours in the day, and I just need a nap. :)

Oh, YES, YES, YES, Bill...I do wish we could rewind environmentally...back to when pesticides were invented...and we could/would use them MUCH more prudently...ditto with chemical fertilizers...organic is so much better for the land and the human/animal populations. We are killing ourselves for the almighty dollar....correction...big agribusiness is killing us for their profit. These are a big chunk of the people to whom our fearless (snort) leader has given a huge tax cut (while maintaining the lie that he has given the average Joe a break).
#8: Ga Hendrick (GaHendrick) on Jan 29, 2020 [SPOILER]
The catch, of course, in "rewinding" is that we also technically "lose" all the advances, especially medical.
Fascinating puzzle that triggered many interesting comments.
#9: BlackCat (BlackCat) on Jul 3, 2020
Sometimes. Mostly not.
#10: Yonah Kondor (yokon965) on Jan 8, 2021 [SPOILER]
Rewind, a metaphor for the much needed Unwind.
