Found to be solvable with moderate lookahead by valerie.

I like puzzles that have early necessary lookahead, then everything falls into place. I think there was another Mr. Yuk puzzle that was green. If it's not particularly deep edge logic, it is satisfying. The irony of the title is, I think this puzzle is the sort of thing that would teach kids logic and problem solving very well.

The other Mr Yuk puzzle is #7846, for anyone who wants to look. I liked them both.

Are you sure he isn't Mr Yuck?
Mr Yuk sounds like he's a comedian
#4: Joanne Firla (JoFirla) on Dec 25, 2019 [SPOILER]
Mr. Yuk has been around since 1971 helping kids avoid poison.

As a proud Pittsburgher I extra love that you did this!

Clever title. I really enjoyed this one, Bob.

Once I saw the smile logic the rest was very easy.

#2: Puzzle #6591 is also Mr. Yuk

There are lots and lots of duplicates on this site, especially with simple, graphic images. They're usually different, and fun to solve in their own way. An exception would be pixel-by-pixel duplicates of early video game characters. I can't tell you how many identical puzzles there are of Mario and the various mushrooms. :)

There is no smile logic on this puzzle.

You can use edge logic on any of the four sides, and then line logic to finish.
#12: Bruce Yanoshek (yanogator) on Mar 23, 2022 [HINT]
I used frown logic, but didn't check first to see if it was necessary, so I'll take Joe's word for it.
