I doubt it, Teresa. I can trace my lineage back to Gerhard. Naturally I've never heard of Toshiro. Thank you Sanane for all of your research.
If you want to trace my maternal line, my mother was daughter of J. Alphonse Koenig, a cartoonist in Maywood, Illinois and San Diego, where he was a neighbor, confidante and drinking buddy of Dr. Seuss (Theodore Geisel). Koenig illustrated many industrial safety manuals, but did publish one large volume of humorous cartoons.
