I should have recognized this one early on as a perfect puzzle for trying to solve in minimum number of clicks -- first the blanks, then black, red, green, blue. (There is a setting one must choose t/concerning how the cycle thru the colors behaves). Is there a thread that identified puzzles that particularly fit this technique? It's also how I approach the puzzles that don't have white space to make them a bit more interesting, and also cuz I'm lazy....
