Congrats!

Teresa, it's just not right that a job like yours is minimum wage. If salaries matched a job's value to society, people would be flocking to such jobs and teaching positions; and they'd be fleeing Wall Street and corporate boards.

I thought that was a swimmer on the bottom who was making a splashed when they hit the wall. lol

Good puzzle Teresa, and it’s great to hear you are doing well and you’re happy x
I’ve just reduced my sugar intake by around 75% just because I know it’s time to do so, it’s hard, I love all the yummy bad stuff :D

Thanks, everyone, for your kind comments.

Congratulations to you too, Ga. I remember asking at what point does a person become a survivor. I was told, as soon as you are diagnosed, and as long as you are still alive.

I'm not so good, solving these puzzles, but I love them...and I wouldn't miss the comments for the world. I'll add my congratulations for your good news, Teresa. I've had some very dear friends go through cancer treatment...who are all doing well. Glad for you as well, GaHendrick. I'm also working on cutting a lot of sugar and carbs from my diet. I'm in "actively losing excess weight" mode, so I'm being pretty strict with myself. Sigh...I miss having a glass of wine with dinner, but then, it wouldn't be the same since "dinner" is a shake most of the time.

Thanks, JoDeen. And congrats on your actively losing weight. I love having a super shake for dinner. It fills me up and I'm not hungry the rest of the evening.

Coffee with sugar tastes like sugar, not coffee.
Tea with sugar tastes like sugar, not tea.
I don't add sugar to anything!
Berries are the fruit of choice.

But wine, give me all you've got!

My parents drank coffee with sugar and cream. When I tasted it I went bllllck. Finally tasted it black and liked it. My attempts at drinking iced tea turned into lemonade. I now drink it plain and find it very good and very thirst quenching.

Yes! Lemonade no sugar! Great!
#16: Aurelian Ginkgo (AurelianGinkgo) on Nov 15, 2019
How can you live without sugar?! Put chocolate in everything for me! (Heh, except for things in which chocolate would be gross...)
#17: Jota (jota) on Nov 19, 2019
Oh no! Chocolate I'll take dark!
#18: Teresa K (fasstar) on Nov 19, 2019
Jota, I just happen to have some dark chocolate kisses in my stash drawer right here. Help yourself! You too, Aurelian. (✬‿✬)

Thanks!

Mmmm. I'll have to add it to my almonds. They're the best with dark chocolate.
