I see the photos and I can't believe the fury and devastation of the fires. It is sad that this devastation is what moved you to create your first puzzle here after solving so many. It is quite good. You have captured the movement of the flames.

Norma - Thank you. I actually had a couple that were lost to the db crash but, you're right, I love solving but creating is a totally different skill set that I'm not usually comfortable with. But the constant yearly fires were weighing on me and, for some reason, this is where it came out. The loss of lives and homes and life-giving trees is devastating.

Tea - Thanks for the laugh. Believe me, if the "genius" was right, I'd be out there with my rake right now.

They are reporting that goats saved the Reagan library by munching away on all the scrub. They actually rent the goats out and in a small way they are making a difference. Buy more goats! :)

This is a very nice puzzle, Beebs. You really should consider making more.

It's so sad! Nice puzzle!

Creating a puzzle is a great way to work out some heavy emotions. I did one about flooding in S Louisiana, several years ago.

Beebs. This puzzle is so good that it should come with a trigger warning.

On a side note, I just did a search of your puzzles and the restored puzzles from the db loss didn't show up. I wonder why? Does anyone know?
