Puzzle Description:

Yoga pants

See also the series: inappropriate attire.

Too many people come to the grocery store in super tight pants, not caring whether it is flattering or not. Forgive my rant, but as a fashionista and a heavy girl, I wouldn't leave my house in tight stretchy pants as the outermost layer. Ever.

Thanks for the shout out of my other series. This could surely fit (pardon the pun)
#3: Kristen Vognild (kristen) on Oct 24, 2019 [SPOILER]
Exercise Apparel, perhaps? :)
#4: Teresa K (fasstar) on Oct 24, 2019 [SPOILER]
Only if pushing a grocery cart counts as exercise, Kristen. :-)
#5: Rebecca Powell (Rsp55) on Oct 25, 2019 [SPOILER]
I sometimes will shop on my way to or from yoga, though. Perhaps people DON'T care whether it's flattering or not, feeling that they're not obligated to look the way others think they should.

Yoga Pants reminds me of the 80's when Marlboro had a catalog of 'adventure gear' you could exchange UPC's for. It was mostly gear for stuff no heavy smoker would do, like backpacking and jogging.

@#5: Perhaps. But it's easier to respect someone who shows that they respect him/herself. I dress in a way that shows I respect myself. That's my choice. Others could choose to dress however they like.

I didn't mean to start a whole discord on fashion vs modesty. My point behind the whole series is that people buy this stuff with the best intention to live a healthy lifestyle and get into better shape but inertia and entropy take over. A weight bench becomes a bench and yoga pants become pants. I don't even know what those kettle bells are supposed to be used for, but those recycled newspapers aren't going anywhere.

That shopping cart has Diet Coke and Godiva chocolate in it for sure!
