I can imagine that working in that field can be both rewarding and heartbreaking. I have to admire you, Teresa, for taking on that job.#4: Teresa K (fasstar) on Oct 20, 2019
Besmirched, that is so funny.#5: Claudia (clau_bolson) on Oct 21, 2019 [SPOILER]
Norma, for me it is really rewarding, because I did tons of research to figure out how to make it work, and when it works, everybody is happy.
Kids with neurobehavioral disorders often have too little serotonin and dopamine, too much cortisol, and unbalanced oxytocin. I have a list of 9 things that have to be in place to balance the brain properly (based on research), and if parents to them all, it works like magic. My son John (FAS) and my daughter (Karie) have very few behavior problems now, compared to before I knew what to do. It really is amazing. The picture here is my daughter. The happy face represents serotonin and the heart represents oxytocin.

This is an all-around great puzzle in terms of image and meaning. It is fascinating to learn what you do and so good to know that it can be done.#8: Teresa K (fasstar) on Oct 27, 2019
Yes, Marjorie, there is nothing more fascinating than the human brain and nothing more satisfying than figuring out why people/kids/parents do what they do, so we can minimize the problems and maximize the success, joy, satisfaction, happiness, and love.#9: jewel crown (Jewel) on Nov 3, 2019
