Puzzle Description:

Dolphin jumping out of the water.

Wow, for the size of the puzzle, it was quite a challenge! It took a while for me to even figure out the logic of it. The edge logic on the bottom 3 rows was what finally cracked it for me!

a doll-fink!

Line logic solved it fine for me.

Very nice. Line logic for me, also.

Nice image - thank you!

Well done! It took me a bit of edge logic on the right but them came together nicely.

I loved it, Taz! For the very first time, I used the L key! This morning I did an old puzzle in which Jan thoroughly explained the programming of this key after one of the puzzlers talked about using it when he wanted a hint.

I suppose I'm late to the party, and everyone already knows this, but if you think you've run out of line logic options, and want a hint, if you hit the L key, a purple arrow appears, showing a row that will result in a pixel fill-in if you look at it carefully.

This "hint" button doesn't always show you a purple arrow, for reasons Jan explained, even when a pixel fill-in is available, but for the most part, it does.

I used it on this puzzle once...and it worked like a charm. Jan's unique legacy remains dynamic...what a gift!

Thank you JoDeen! And thank you for the info on the L key, I will be trying that out for sure! And thank you Jan : )

I actually use the "help" button. When I get stuck, I click on "check" to see if I made any mistakes, then I click on "save" (just in case), and then I click on "help" to get my next clue.

Where is the "help" button, Teresa? Is it the same as hitting "L" on the keyboard, when a purple arrow appears?
#16: Teresa K (fasstar) on Oct 27, 2019
It's right under the "save" button on the screen where you are solving the puzzle.

Very nice puzzle, Taz! And thanks to those who explained the L key. I never knew that it was available. Although I don't know if I will use it, because I feel as if I'm cheating when I ask for hints. But, perhaps when I'm ready to give up...
#18: JoDeen Mozena (ozymoe) on Oct 27, 2019
Thanks, Teresa...lol, I never noticed, even though I save all the time as I'm solving.

I hear you about the "cheating" feeling, sastahl...me too, but it's nice to push it when I've finally decided I've gone as far as I can with LL before I need to start edge logic. If that's truly the case, no hint (purple arrow) appears...I look at it as confirmation.
