Puzzle Description:

It's curtains, of course, in more ways than one. You are looking for three words here, by rearranging the letters in "MICHAEL EDDY" - two words are at the end of the curtains and one is at the end of the life. So this is not too morbid, let's say you are looking out the kitchen window to the backyard burial site of the recently deceased pet turtle.

Lacy hem, of course! Good job, Phyllis. I am very patient when it comes to solving the PBN, but less patient with the anagrams. Gave up after about 10 minutes. I came up with a lot of silly, albeit very wrong and nonsensical, answers. Some of my favorites:
ALCHEMY DIED
MEDICAL HYDE
LYM ACHE DIED
HEY CLAM DIED
MY LEACH DIED
YELCH IM DEAD

Thanks for the puzzle!

Thanks, Norma and Koreen!

Michael, I enjoyed reading your alternate solutions. Haha. I'm glad you like your puzzle. And I'm glad it was only the turtle that died. Now go take care of those dandelions, man. :-D

I think I've said this before, but.....
I really love the puzzle within a puzzle.
Love PBN, anagrams, etc bonus.

Michael I too have the funny list of words :-)
Amusing but somehow just don't quite fit, so understand the frustration.
Now please take care of those dandelions, they are driving Theresa crazy ;-D
