My dad had one when I was a teenager. She was oh-so-very-gorgeous, but incredibly dumb. She just couldn't be trained. She was always so happy to see us that every time we walked in the door she ran around in circles, tail waving madly, and piddled just a little. My mother-in-law had a Pomeranian like that. He was bred to be beautiful, not to be smart. And he was so, so beautiful.
