Oooh, I got this one! I've heard this anagram before, and always thought there should be a new word that describes an anagram that is accurate or ironic or otherwise references its own anagram.
Ironogram? Referagram? Gramanam?
Suggestions?
#6: Norma Dee (norm0908) on Aug 26, 2019
Reverseagram?
#7: Joe (infrapinklizzard) on Aug 26, 2019
I think they're called aptagrams.
#8: Norma Dee (norm0908) on Aug 26, 2019
That's fitting, Joe.
#9: Bill Eisenmann (Bullet) on Aug 27, 2019
Indeed it is!

Wictionary agrees: Noun. aptagram (plural aptagrams) (rare) An anagram whose meaning is relevant to that of the original text that was anagrammed. "Moon starer" is an aptagram of "astronomer". "Notes" is an aptagram of "tones".

How apt!

I wouldn't mind these being brought back. We've probably forgotten them by now. Also, it's cool to learn a new word.

Also, I enjoyed the other two of these you did make. And I noticed webpbn had a bunch of other anagram puzzles I missed, too.
