Thanks, everyone. On a serious note, I have been able to walk "almost" every day (5 - 6 days a week) for about 2 miles. And I have graduated myself to doing chair exercises 3x a week. That is something I have found I can handle without too much complaining and is really helpful in keeping toned. Not bad for 72. My Mom is 100 and she still walks and does chair exercises. Way to go, Mom!

Yeah, at age 70 my mom started walking 3 miles a day. She's now 85, and we have no idea where she is...

I get you. I am following a similar plan, except that, at nearly 70 myself, I'm still trying to be a tennis player, so I should (!) work out almost every day, but I find myself mostly just walking the dogs, a couple of miles total, every day, and doing light dumbbells ... a couple times a week ...

I'll pay for that at some point...
