The description is a clue to the subject using cryptic crossword clue rules.#2: Web Paint-By-Number Robot (webpbn) on Jul 3, 2019
Every cryptic clue is made up of two parts; a definition, and a literal description of the answer using wordplay. They can be in either order (though not intertwined) and there is no separation between them.

Oh! Very cool puzzle. I love how it solved.#10: JoDeen Mozena (ozymoe) on Jul 8, 2019
This is an absolutely exquisite puzzle. I'm a long time cryptic puzzle fan. Had I not been able to solve the cryptic, I doubt I'd have seen the image, but once I knew what it was, it popped like a kernel of corn. Jota's right...awesome on both counts!#11: Ron Jacobson (shmily999) on Aug 25, 2020
Yeah! The second one I got! I think I am starting to get the hang of this.#12: Joe (infrapinklizzard) on Aug 25, 2020
