My cat hated the carrier; it took days to lure him into it, and then it was nothing but rage in a cage. Then I took him to be "fixed". He was pretty groggy for a while after the anesthesia. When it fully wore off, he seemed to have realized what was missing, and ran to the carrier and sat inside, glaring out at me, and I could almost hear him saying "Take me back there and put 'em back on!"#8: Kristen Vognild (kristen) on Jun 24, 2019 [SPOILER]
We always brought our cats in pillowcases. They calmed right down, because it was like a cozy little cave. It required a passenger (I went with my mom), but it was much easier to bring 'em that way.#9: Norma Dee (norm0908) on Jun 24, 2019
Our cat just considers it another box. Leave the door open and he will go in, curl up and go to sleep.
