Oh dear! I hope it's only your monitor and not a Windows BSoD.#2: Mike B (mikey_b) on Apr 25, 2019 [SPOILER]
Just the monitor - all good.#3: besmirched tea (Besmirched Tea) on Apr 25, 2019 [SPOILER]
Love the power LED.
I've seen a lot of monitor pbn's, but that LED really makes yours lifelike!
I don't know if you're an electronics guy, but 90% of the time I go to fix a monitor, it's a bad electrolytic capacitor.
They should look very cylindrical with straight sides and a flat top, but when they go bad, the top starts to slightly dome (sometimes the sides will bulge, but usually the top swells first).
Replace them all, since it's only a few bucks on Amazon.
that'll usually hold you for another 10 years.
If that metal top domes too much, it splits along that cross shaped crease and pops like a zit, spilling nastiness everywhere.
(I call it jiffy-popping)
