Last night I was discussing the arrival of spring with my grandson. We agreed that in many parts of the country people a welcoming spring with open arms while we here in Phoenix are saying, "Damn! It's spring already."#10: Kristen Vognild (kristen) on Apr 3, 2019

We've got the bright red buds on the red maples...you can see em a mile away. Buds on crabapples and honeysuckle also, but that's about it.#12: Kurt Kowalczyk (bahabro) on Apr 3, 2019
Well, that's not true either...a few other things, but not much. My forsythia flowered already and there are buds on my jap maple. I think I saw a mag flowering also. Funny how you want em in the spring, but you can't wait for the last of em to fall in the autumn#13: BlackCat (BlackCat) on Nov 24, 2020
