no no no....Go Redbirds! BoSox broke my heart in the series in 2013-ish. If I'm remembering correctly, I made a puzz just after the divisional games(mid-trip, I was meeting my old college roomie in Vegas for his 40th b-day. A surprise that his wife set up). Really really neat to see a cryptarithm in another language.
The rough solution is that K = S + (1 or 2) since S+S+K+K=S in ones column but K in 100's.
But it's actually 1 since O+O+I+O=O means O+O+I would have to be 20 but O is 3 or less--you can only carry 3 from the 100's.
Now K + K + S = 20 gives us different possibilities but the only one which works is K=7 S=6. That makes O=2(it can't quite get to 3) then I=4.
