EL 5 r1 = c1-2, c10 w#3: Kurt Kowalczyk (bahabro) on Feb 23, 2019 [HINT]
LL
EL 4 c1 = r2, r8-10 w
LL
Because of the 1 in c9, only one of the 3s in rows 7&8 could go right. One or both must go left, triggering the 2 in c6. So c6r3-5 & rr10 must be white.
LL to finish
bad image and not overly hard...but small enough that a beginner might take the time to try and sort it out rather than give up on it.#4: Joe (infrapinklizzard) on Feb 23, 2019 [SPOILER]
It's mostly just el around the perimeters. After the el and subsequent LL, the harder to see move is in the bottom rt corner... The "1" in c10 has to be in either r9 or r10. Either way, the 4 in c7 can't go all the way downwards because you'll dot the rest of one of those bottom two rows.
Possessed pasta?!? Quick, get the priest, pay him a penne orzo and get him to exorcise it! Then everything will be pici.#5: Kurt Kowalczyk (bahabro) on Feb 23, 2019
Ah, you beat me to the punch, Joe. And solved in another fashion. lol :)#6: Kurt Kowalczyk (bahabro) on Feb 23, 2019
I had pasta for dinner.... ;)#7: Kurt Kowalczyk (bahabro) on Feb 23, 2019
"pici"...hahahaha!
All in all though, this puzz was only done for the solve. If you ever "view information" on an adv logic puzz, it seems that only half of those who attempt it actually finish. ie, there are a lotta lotta out there that haven't learned how. I know when I started, I couldn't do em. Nor did I view comments. There are multiple ways to do this, and even someone who doesn't know can and maybe will play with it a bit cuz it's so small. I published as a learning tool for a diff skill level....#8: frederik gravgaard (villahus) on Feb 24, 2019

I'd like to ban if someone finds lookaheading a puzzle... that's the spice of an interesting puzzle :)#10: Glenn Crider (playamonkey) on Feb 24, 2019
Hi Kurt!
This is a good example for beginners to hone thier solving skills on.#11: Emily Brower (Emimonster) on Feb 24, 2019 [HINT]
Thank you for the puzzle! I love these little guys, and I love puzzles focused on the solve, not the picture : )#12: Kurt Kowalczyk (bahabro) on Feb 27, 2019
The only bit of lookahead I used was that (after usual edge logic) the 1 in C10 had to be in either R9 or 10, which both only had one 1 left available, so that means the 4 in C7 can't start in R10 because then it would consume both those 1's and there wouldn't be any available for that 1 in C10.
Great, Emily! Very astute :)#13: Kurt Kowalczyk (bahabro) on Feb 27, 2019
Hey Thomas! Can I count on you to give me a Genuine-ly good puzzle? ;)
And how is Ann? I haven't heard anything in forever....tell her Uncle Kurt says "hi"!#14: Teresa K (fasstar) on Feb 27, 2019
And a fun solve it was. Thanks, Kurt!
