Did someone just have a birthday, me-thinks? Happy birthday, K! I'll have to come up with a puzz idea just for you...

just thinking out loud...why do they call it a mid-life crisis when you hit mid-forties and priorities or way of thinking shifts a bit? A) It's not mid..I have no plans on reaching 90's. B)It's growth, and we've been growing forever. My goals/life at 20 is in no way reflective of the things I thought at 25. Does that make it a 1/3rd life crisis? Just curious though, as we're only a few months apart...Have any epiphanies of late? I actually have, as of the last year. Does the "mid-life" thing have substance? And have you heard from our other generational puzzler? Dennis/Dave Bouldin? One of the best..and just a few months younger than us

Idk if you remember what I do. I fix irrigation and electrical problems for a few country clubs. I decided that the heat sucks, and so does the cold. So the heat of summer and all of winter, I'm done. I don't work. I stay home with the puppy. If I wasn't a stud, I'd prob not get away with it. Buut...As it stands...I'm in demand, I took off 5 months out of the last year. (which is nice), I've got ppl wondering and hoping I come back. Bills taken care of, I make enough in the other 7 month to live quite comfortably. I'm not putting anything away towards a retirement...but hell, you could get hit by a bus tomorrow. It works. For now. I take 5 months off outta a year and get by just fine. That was my mid-life thingie. I like it, and I'll keep doing it

It helps that my sig other is loaded. She never gives me anything, but just knowing that I have a multi-millionaire to fall back on if necessary makes it a simple choice. Poor Amanda! She came over yest, and it was the first time I've seen her in months. In her condition, she can't be out in the cold. And she can't be exposed to anything. Just the flu or a cold will kill her. Known her for 20+ years. It's hard not even being able to be in the same room with the person you love for months at a time. But the time you do makes it all worthwhile. Everything floods back, and you pick up like it was yesterday. I know I'm just talking out loud now, but sometimes I need to do that

Yep, I turned 44 on Monday, and Sonic would NOT give me a free Rte 44 cherry limeade (very disappointing!)

David is still commenting, here and there. The last puzzle he published was #30394.
