Nice puzzle, and a good title.

Brrrr! And parts of the USA are going to get even colder this week.

Yes! On Wednesday here in Ann Arbor we're expecting a high temperature of -7F and a low of -17F. Brr!

(For people who think in Celsius, that's a high of -22C and a low of -27C. Brrr!)

That has been the norm, here in Plaster Rock New Brunswick. Very cold. So cold that I'm running 4 electric space heaters and my oven to keep the inside temperature at around 70F, which is comfortable for my girls.

Or maybe anti-climatic?

Reminds me of my Siberian cousin Freesia Rasov :)

Chilly, chilly!! Oh now that mondegreen is going to be stuck in my head: Chilly, chilly coco puff, chilly chilly puff puff, which of course are totally the wrong lyrics.

Fun, easy puzzle. Even better, I knew what it was before reading the comments.

A little more word play. Have you ever heard someone pronounce it anti climatic? There is the related term anti climax. Sounds very disappointing.

Anticlimacticism is one of my favorite comedic effects in cartoons. Milo Murphey's Law is pretty good at portraying this concept. There's a lot of build up... and then not much of a result which you expect to be big and climactic. But the resulting irony is delicious.

Oh I'm so glad it turned out to be a thermometer, and not something else that could be suggested by that word. Whew.
