I'm not sure whether there's a logical way to solve this. It's either deep lookahead, or educated guessing.

I kind of was able to figure out that the two 3's in column 5 can't be right next to each other or the rows of 5s will never fit. Once that allowed me to kind of intuit a starting point the rest of it was basically coloring in. What I didn't enjoy about it was that it was suuuuper tough at the very first few placements and from that point it's just thoughtless coloring in.

I liked this solve. I used edge logic on row 20, seeing how it affected rows 15-17. After that it was all line logic.

Found to be solvable with moderate lookahead by infrapinklizzard.

Deep edge logic on the left 5 in r20 (vs r15) = c1-3 white. (It would make a block smaller than 5 in r15)

Deep edge logic on the left 5 in r19 (vs r17) = c1-3 white. (It would make a block of 4 in r17)

I was able to knock out columns 1-5 in the bottom row pretty easily, then the rest was okay. But of course there is the "risk" that I would wind up actually solving the puzzle instead of solving it by logic if I started in the bottom right.

Thanks Lil' Squish. Rain is common here but snow not so much.

I used to play a lot of Minesweeper and i would hit all of the corners to start. I would lose some that way, but got good clues when i didn't. So i have started working from the corners on the puzzles that regular line logic doesn't seem to help much.
