When the Constitution was written, there was genuine concern for attack and, without an army, the citizens needed to defend themselves. Those days have gone. No other country is going to launch a ground attack on USA, and you now have an enormous army to protect your citizens.
The laws (and the Constitution) need to change. Don't tell me you can't change the Constitution - just look at all the Amendments already in place.
I pray for a peaceful world. I pray that people would realise that peace does not come through more guns.
I recently read somewhere that Canada has had 11 gun murders.
