It was a nice easy solve, Xaiven. Why did you caption it, "cation?"
#2: Zane Jett (TheHandOfGod) on Oct 24, 2018
Perhaps he meant 'caution'.

I was seeing the word as cat-ion, which I believe is a chemistry term. (Correct me kindly if I am wrong. I don't feel like googling it.)

Caution indeed! No one is more cautious around a cactus than someone who has been more curious than cautious in the past. Teddy bear cholla are the worst. But there's nothing prettier than a blooming cactus. Well, maybe there are prettier things, but I do love a desert in bloom.
#6: Xaiven (27rayxw) on Oct 24, 2018
I like blooming cactus's too!!
#7: Aurelian Ginkgo (AurelianGinkgo) on Oct 24, 2018
Yeah, cacti are cool. They come in such awesome varieties.
#8: Xaiven (27rayxw) on Oct 25, 2018
yeah, and I like your user name.
:) check out my other puzzles abort,madness,...,rain, too much rain and abstract. There are two of them! DO NOT DO 31714.

I thought that, too, Aurelian. Anions and cations, like anodes and cathodes. :)

Thanks, @ #8. I chose this user name because it is my pen name. I'm going to publish eventually. The first part, Aurelian, means golden, and the second part combines with it to imply the golden color of the leaf in autumn. They should be turning soon! 😍
