Well the puzzle has been changed now. Very likely the problem has been fixed, but I haven't yet had time to try solving it all over again.

Yup, there is now a unique solution. Very cool.

Hi Jan, Try it once more because I think there was still one ambiguity. I think it has a unique solution now.

Thanks so much. This puzzle editor/creator is lots of fun!

There are still two solutions, on the left side. But this is a fabulous puzzle - thanks so much!

Many times - on this puzzle only - I have to wait a huge amount of time after clicking on a square. During this period (which can be more than 2 minutes) my MSIE is like dead!
Has somebody else met this problem, or is that only me?

Hmmm...I was convinced the solution was unique the last time I solved it. I'm getting tired of solving and resolving this.

Slowness - I really need to add a button to turn off the red-ball error checking. Some browsers just have crappy regular expression libraries (Opera's even gives wrong answers sometimes), and even the good ones occasionally give long delays like Martial describes.

I'm currently mostly using Firefox 1.5. This is the next version of Firefox, currently available only in a pre-release version, but it is by far the best browser I've ever used, and handles paint-by-number very well. It's fast and all the weird little Firefox 1.0 glitches have been fixed.

Still a terrific puzzle.

Very nice. Great puzzle.
The height was a bit annoying though.

Nice one! Fun to solve and a beautiful image! Thanks.

I think this is an excellent puzzle. I think it is solveable and the question mark should be removed.
