I don't know the song, but I can totally identify the rats for what they are. The use of black adds to the mangy look of sewer rats. I actually like that because it makes a new story all its own, like if there was a sickeningly sweet short story written about these foul sewer rats who are friends and then they fall in love and get married. It should definitely be written in poem form... I think I need to get my creative energy out. Heh heh, I should finish my novel.#2: Teresa K (fasstar) on Sep 23, 2018
Good puzzle.
Aw, aren't they sweet! Fun puzzle, Brian. I have no idea what the lyrics for this might be, but I'm enthralled by Aurelian's idea for a poem. I'm wondering what their vows might be?#3: robert svanberg (tango) on Sep 23, 2018

I am reminded of "Muskrat Love" by Captain & Tennille. They proved that "love" can be a 7-syllable word.#7: Bill Eisenmann (Bullet) on Sep 24, 2018
