Puzzle Description:

A camel on a dune

#1: Rhinoceros (Rhino) on Aug 24, 2018 [SPOILER]

Nice little picture, but shouldn't the Arabian camel (or dromedary) only have one hump?
#2: Kim (kjh) on Aug 24, 2018
It reminds me of one of those creatures from Star Wars.
#3: Kristen Vognild (kristen) on Aug 24, 2018 [SPOILER]
Yeah, Bactrian (2-hump) camels live in central Asia. Arabian camels are one-hump Dromedaries.

Pedantry aside, it's a lovely little puzzle. "Gobian Nights" just wouldn't have the same ring to it.

You make me smile, Kristen (and not just on this occasion)...I love your comments. After your observation, I had to try and make "Gobian Nights," work in the lyrics to Aladdin's "Arabian Nights." Glad there is no one around to listen to me improvise lol.

Nice 10x10 image, but the "dune" is very flat (or huge.)
#6: Ga Hendrick (GaHendrick) on Aug 25, 2018 [SPOILER]
I find this a terrific small puzzle. The camel (regardless of the number of humps it is "supposed" to have is clearly pictured. Thanks for your efforts.

Camel trains often travel on the ridge of the dune on the windward side as that's where the sand is the firmest.

(gee, I wonder what that link has in it...)

Nothing anymore, as it turns out. Here's another:

Nice point Rhino. Arabian camels have only one bump but their saddles have two bumps.

rhino makes a good point, which is why you never see Toyotas or Hondas in the U.S. ;)
