Puzzle Description:

Robins are nesting in the wisteria by our back door. We're able to watch from the window. Mother bird sits there most of the day and doesn't mind when I go outside, but she was very upset when a blue jay got too near. While she chased him, I was able to peek in the nest: one egg so far.

What fun.

I love this puzzle...and the accompanying story, Susan. Because of the title, and because I am in my 60's, your title made me think of pregnancy (does anyone say "expecting" anymore?) When I looked at the final image, before I read the description, I thought I was looking at a uterus with a levitating fetus.

Lol...when I finally read the description I had to laugh at myself! Keep us posted on the egg(s) and baby bird(s)....

JoDeen, I'll let you know of the birds' progress. We've often had robins nesting on our house, but never so visibly. Really exciting!

What a lovely design!

We have a decorative wreath on our side door which has a little handcrafted bird's nest with 2 little eggs. A family of sparrows built their nest right on top of the fake one!

A terrific puzzle, with an excellent story. Do keep us posted about the baby birds. Thanks.

Yay for the second egg! Bill, can hardly believe that happened to your wreath! How fun!
