The description is a clue to the subject using cryptic crossword clue rules.

Every cryptic clue is made up of two parts; a definition, and a literal description of the answer using wordplay. They can be in either order (though not intertwined) and there is no separation between them.

While this kind-of fits the part of the clue you used, it doesn't fit the rest. With a properly constructed cryptic clue, all parts of the clue have a role to play.

Never get riddles. Great image - fun solve without and tediousness. Lovely use of colors.

I like the solve but have never been able to solve cryptic puzzles. Good job Susan
