As a puzzle, it's very good. As a first puzzle, it's amazingly good - near-but-not symmetry, terrific image and likeness, offset by some good artistry, and a challenging but not frustrating solve.
My only quibble (suggestion, really, Luke) is to not give away the image in the title. Perhaps something alluding to a butterfly without saying so.
