Jota is the letter "J" is Spanish and and in Spanish, J's are pronounced like and H. As in Hay-soos for the Spanish pronunciation of Jesus, which you have probably heard.

I pronounce tavern with a very flat a. I was led to believe by my high school Spanish teachers that Spanish always has a soft a like saying "ah".

Pronunciation by JustNahuel is the one I liked the best! My english pronunciation has an accent, so I was misleading you when I said Tavern. Sorry!
