I normally don't do puzzles that require this much scrolling. I peeked at the solution and really liked it so I went ahead and solved it.

So I just looked up your reference and saw they had a "tiny" version which was 24x64 pixels. How are you making these?

Brian - I'm working on software which constructs nonograms, and using the small PhyloPic images as source material. About 1/3rd of their images produce valid puzzles. Of those (about 600 images), I'm trying to cherry pick the nice ones...

Cool.

I didn't realize nonograms where pictures. The ones I've seen were just puzzles without a final "image".
